Computational Fluid Dynamics:
CFD is the original expertise domain of R.Tech, especially high speed flows.
R.Tech keeps on developing its highly technical and theoretical know-how in the high speed vehicle numerical simulation domain. Using in-house developed codes (MISTRAL, BLIZZARD...) which have been validated for space applications, the company is able to predict aerodynamics performances of very complex shapes, including detailed physics (turbulence, chemistry... ).
Those computations are performed on a cluster implemented within the company. This allows R.Tech to take part in the development of French and European future spacecrafts and in the exploration of solar system planets like Mars, Venus and Titan.
During the last few years R.Tech has extended its CFD activities to very low speed flows (including Fluid Structure Interactions on scientific balloons) and intermediate regimes with activities on racing cars.
Grid generation:
R.Tech has a long expertise in grid generation around complex 3D models.
Since a good mesh is an important prerequisite to any good CFD computation, R.Tech is using and distributing one of the best mesh generator on the market: GridPro.
GridPro is an automatic structured hexaedral mesher producing very high quality grids on many type of models wich is a perfect preprocessor for all type of CFD computations.
Engineering:
R.Tech is also developing its activities in the engineering domain. During the last few years, R.Tech has developped engineering models especially for scientific balloons flight simulations.
Various balloon types, opened or closed, and the more complex infrared balloons can be now simulated with the integration of meteorological effects.
Human Machine Interface:
By using appropriate coding languages such as C++ and Python, R.Tech engineers are able to produce highly effective and easy to use Human Machine Interface for any kind of utilisation.
Interfaces can be designed for stand alone softwares as well as in combination with other tools.
